Beginning July 21, 2026, the program is available through Mission Mexico, which includes the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and every U.S. consulate in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement represents one of the most significant changes to the visitor visa application process in years. For applicants who have waited months for an interview appointment, the new pilot offers an opportunity to secure an earlier interview by paying an additional fee. But paying for a faster appointment changes only the timing of the interview, not the standards used to evaluate it. Applicants are not paying for a different visa application or a different interview process.
